There are two parts to the "Halal 101 - Basic Traceability Method" video.

This video allows you to have a better understanding of how you can ensure traceability between the items received and their supporting documents. You will learn how to ensure the product description and/or product code on the product packaging/label tallies with the details on the Halal certificate.

Traceability is important as it provides the ability to ensure that all raw materials, additives and processing aids that are stored and used by the certified premises are truly Halal. It also indirectly ensure that the local manufacturers that are certified Halal, continue to consistently comply with the certification requirements.
